Trading and business transactions in General Santos City have been boosted by the newly constructed access road which links the General Santos City Fish Port Complex to the major business centers of Cotabato Province and the region. The General Santos City Fish Port Complex (GSCFPC) is also adequately supported by facilities for telecommunication, banking, transportation and allied business services found in General Santos City.

The researchers would like to suggest to the local government to improve the facilities used in tuna fishing and processing especially in GSCFPC and to hire more workers so that the mass production of tuna products will increase at the same time the employment rate in our city will also increase. The proponents of the team suggest to the concerned citizens to have more projects and proposals regarding to the improvement of the tuna processing here in General Santos City.
