THE WAY WE LIVE
THE UNDWELLED Try imagining that you are a bird flying up in the sky. You can
see familiar places you’ve had been. You can see the humans down below. Just then
you fly too far until you reach an unfamiliar place covered with pines and
grass. Here and there are the rolling hills, pleasant valleys and huge forests.
Anywhere there can be any animals but there are no humans that can be located. The
grasses gently flow with the wind while the springs silently flow on the
forests rounds and gives life to the mountains. This land covered and towered
with lowly clouds is located near the edge of a city known today as Baguio city but hundred years ago, it is only visited by
passersby. Not until a tribe came and settle in the place. They then build a
new community and called the place Doakan. Many more days go and many humans
too came and settled, until the place was named Loakan. This place then became
an industrialized community.
