Project Basura: An Overview

 

 

Project Description

Solid waste management is one of the environmental issues each nation faces. Various efforts have been exerted to find ways on how they can minimize the solid wastes collected in each community and hollow out the hidden gold from these trashes. The focus study entitled “Basurang Bato: The Unwasted Wastes” is about the creation of an innovative and durable bricks from the shredded residuals such as tetra packs, plastic bags, and other plastic materials which is in accordance with the municipal-wide garbage segregation programs in the schools and a range of barangays in Imus, Cavite. In this way, the Imuseños learned how to reduce the amount of wastes produced in their society as well as turned it into a more valuable and profitable products.
