But despite of this, just like other municipalities, Imus suffers to the effects of the unwanted wastes. It disposes a daily average of 100 to 200 tons of garbage deposited in 2300sq.m. waste facility. In connection with this, the municipal government of Imus in cooperation with the Clean Technology established a facility, fully operational in creating concrete materials such as bricks from residuals. Through this, waste minimization, creation of jobs as well as the beautification of Imus became possible with less effort required.

Imus is a municipality in the Province of Cavite which is renowned first class. It has a total land area of 97.01 sq. km and a home to 253,158 Imuseņos with its 97 barangays. Because of its strategic location, with a comfortable 18km distance from Metro Manila, Imus distinctly boomed its economy and featured a stable rise in its municipal income for the past few years. Through the efforts of the municipal government, Imus is now recognized in the world of trade and industry because of its export ventures to various nations worldwide. Moreover, Imuseņos are known to create quality products and world-class merchandise like automotive and electrical components, processed foods, furnitures and novelty items.
