The focus study entitled “The Rise of Teen Population: Bane or Boon?” is an entry for “Doon Po SA Amin” learning challenge under the Mathematics category. It is a narrative about the young population of Maragondon, Cavite. Its main focus is the productivity of the in-school youth (SY) and the out-of-school youth (OSY) in our municipality. In this particular study, we want to show and prove that despite the increasing young population, there is hope for the town of Maragondon. A community without a growing young population is an endangered community. As our national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal said, “The youth is the hope of our motherland”, we believed that our young population will be the hope and future exponents of Maragondon.
