ESIHAS, which
is still the only festival of its kind in the entire country, was
established to promote ICT integration across the curriculum and
inspire the innovative ideas of teachers and students. Dr. Ericson
Sabacan initiated the program.
This year
2008, the ESIHAS had conducted their 3rd digital festival
last 13th day of November 2008, wherein the schools
around Nueva Ecija, secondary and elementary level had participated
and submitted their very own film entry. It was shown at MegaCenter
the Mall, cinema 4. In elementary category, they presented magical
presentation, while in secondary level, they are stories are involved
with love, revenge and justice. Nueva Ecija High School had their
own entry entitled Siklab ; this film entry was chosen in one of
the top 6 and move up to top 3. the rival film of Siklab were, Sta.
Rosa national high school's entry
Latay ; the Rizal national high school's
entry entitled Tik-Tak-Bo .
Nueva Ecija
High School had received the following awards: 2008 best
cinematography, our very own mathematics teacher and one of the ICT
group Ms. Leonides E. Bulalayao as ICT icon of the year, 2008
Best picture (3rd placer), 2008 best production team,
2008 box-office hit, and 2008 best production design. Mr. Pol
Salcedo was given recognition for ESIHAS best cinematography and at
last Mr. Joel M. Santos as best Director of the year.
