Interviewed a few years before her demise, she said "my life is centered now around the community and of course the church. I had that excitement during Valera's time, oh, it was real social and glamorous, and we are all exploding with creativity. That's all over now. But I never look back and linger. I look ahead. This is what living is all about anyway."

- For then heir-apparent Prince Akihito's forthcoming wedding, a one-month show starng March 11, 1959, two wedding ensembles, the Maria Clara and the Filipino terno were displayed at the Tokyo Department Store Takeshimaya, along with other wedding gowns sent in from countries in the Orient and Europe. Eve's was the only one chosen to represent the Philippines.

- Put up a series of Fashion shows for charitable organization (Philippine National Red Cross, Red Teacher, Jaycees and other Catholic schools), with proceeds given to charity;
- Export of baby dresses in Saudi Arabia
- Dely Magpayo with almost a hundred ternos/gowns made by Eve's did the honors of opening the exhibit of Eve's at the 1st BARAKA GAWAD sa MANLILIKHA in APRIL, 2002 at the Santa Rosa de Lima Parish Center.
