FEATURES
Known  for its influencial history, great art and magnificent culture, the City of Santa Rosa has been named as the Cultural and Heritage Mecca. Its arts encompasses literature, visual arts and the performing arts, including music and dance. Its rich culture is mainly all about the distinctively human activities and values which show how profound Santa Rosa is.
David Dia

David Dia, a native of Santa Rosa, is a renowned sculptor. He was famous for he made one of the landmarks of the city, the Arch. As well as for the Rizal monument found in the city's plaza. He lived his life fruitfully with his family and friends. He was recognized and made name for the city. His prosperous years ended during the late 60s. He was found lying on the floor, in his working place, dead. It was said that he had a cardiac arrest.

Though David Dia had passed away, his greatness and best works of art will always be preserved and be recognized, every now and then.


After his death it has been talk of the town that his works were stolen by his neighbors, although some were kept by his family friends. Here are some of the works made by David Dia retrived after his death.
