The City of Santa Rosa (In Tagalog, Lungsod ng Santa Rosa) is a first class city in the province of Laguna, Philippines. It is also known as "The Investment Capital of South Luzon" since 1994. The city lies 38 kilometers south of Manila via the South Luzon Expressway, making it a suburban residential community of Metro Manila. This quiet town of Laguna started its progress initially from the establishment of multinational companies. According to the 2007 census, City of Santa Rosa has a population of 266,943 inhabitants, making it the fourth largest town or city in Laguna after Calamba City, San Pedro and Bi񡮮

Santa Rosa became a city by virtue of Republic Act No. 9264, which was ratified by the citizens on July 10, 2004.

Namesakes such as the "Most Business-Friendly City", the "Investment Capital of South Luzon", the "Little Detroit of the Philippines", and the "City of Wonderful Festivities" center on one location: the city of Santa Rosa, Laguna. Majority of the city's attractions focus on the rich heritage sites, which includes the Santa Rosa de Lima Church, City Museum, Cuartel de Santo Domingo, Santa Rosa 'Bantayan' Arc and the Casa Hacienda; colorful festivities such as the Sikhayan, Luklukan, Indakan and Baraka; and the infamous Enchanted Kingdom: The Disneyland of the Philippines. Apart from that, the ICT Hub of Laguna is also located within the walls of Santa Rosa City. With that, big semi-conducting companies, plantations of large businesses such as Coca-Cola, major Eco-Industrial complexes, and car manufacturing leaders, namely, Honda, Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Columbia Motors, and Diamond Motors.

Santa Rosa City is a place of rich traditions and history, together with these are the colorful traditions and arts shown by the different generations of the people of Santa Rosa. From tasty delicacies to once-renowned singers, sculptors, musicians and artists Santa Rosa City is definitely a haven of artistic patrons of the arts.
