FEATURES
BILAYAKID is a yearly event that highlights the local agriculture. The term BILAYAKID comes from the word bilao which is commonly used by the farmers after harvesting rice grains from the fields.. The feast is celebrated by the local farmers of Santa Rosa City to show their thanksgiving in return of the prosperous supply throughout the year. The feast starts with a street parade followed by the performances of dancers who pay tribute to their harvest.
Known for its influencial history, great art and magnificent culture, the City of Santa Rosa has been named as the Cultural and Heritage Mecca. Its arts encompasses literature, visual arts and the performing arts, including music and dance. Its rich culture is mainly all about the distinctively human activities and values which show how profound Santa Rosa is.
