About the Team
Felishiela Toledo
Ms. Toledo is an accomplished ICT teacher of Agusan National High School. She pioneered the HTML teaching program of the school's ICT curriculum. She inspired the group to participate in the Doon Po Sa Amin project.
Marielle Baladad
Marielle is a 'frustrated' writer/author. Along with Zia and Dean, she is affiliated with ANHS' English publication, The Narra, as its main copywriter. Her interests include constant reading (which explains why she has to use contact lenses) and moviegoing. She is, in her own words, "hell-bent" on taking up Film or any other media-related courses.
Zia Bañares
Beauty queen of only 15, Zia Bañares is an aspiring debater/public speaker/ actress/musician. She represented the Sophomore class in the 2008 ANHS Pearl pageant and won 2nd Runner-Up in that competition. She writes for ANHS' English publication, The Narra.
Charmaine Gilbuena
Charmaine (whose nickname is Misty) is a mathematician, scientist, and avid Sudoku enthusiast, with the fiery temperament to boot. She consistently represents ANHS in math competitions, and spends most of her free time reading books. This gal can be quite straightforward, often saying what's on her mind and what she feels.
Akemi Laput
Akemi Laput is a newswriter affiliated
with ANHS' official Filipino publication, Ang Narra. She is constantly her class's representative in Makabayan contests. Akemi is an avid Korean-pop and Koreanovelas fan. A consistent honor student, she is often seen in the library reading books authored by Lois Lowry and Paulo Coelho.
Dean Lozarie
Dean is a 14-year-old
feature writer who writes for The Narra alongside Zia and Marielle. He has won
many campus journalism awards, perhaps the biggest of which was the 2nd Place award
for Feature Writing - English Elementary during the 2006 NSPC held
in Kalibo, Aklan. He started blogging in 2006, and presently keeps a travailogue of his Deantastic life at DeanTastic!
