Mariculture or marine aquaculture denotes the cultivation of marine organisms, predominantly operated in nearshore systems or landbased percolation or circulative systems. So far , here in Mantigue they have a zone at the northern part of the Island where farmers plant sea weeds (eucheuma).Abundant of seaweeds can be seen already there.
