Telecommunication

        Presently, the communication services  available for public  use in the municipality are following: one (1) Postal Service Office which  has one (1) postmasters, two (2) letters carriers, both equipped with motorcycles, one (1) Telegram Office of the TELECOM which has one (1) telegram operator and some individuals have cellphones. Agricultural Crops

      Agriculture plays a significant role in the economy of the municipality. This must be given priority above all programs because of the increasing population, the uncertain weather conditions and the ever-increasing costs of production.

       Gabaldon is basically an agricultural town. It has a total land area of 36,623 has. Out of the 36,623 hectares, 20,590 hectares or 56.23% are devoted to agricultural purposes. These areas are either irrigated or non-irrigated riceland, cornland, onion, pastureland, coconut and orchard. (read more)

           Livestock and Poultry

           Animal production is limited within the municipality. Compared with other municipalities of the province, there is minimal livestock and poultry production due to the distance of the locality to major commercial places. Despite of its vast pasture areas located in various barangays, some farmers are conveniently utilizing these because source of water like creeks and rivers exist. Backyard animal production is a alternative livelihood project of households while other production is for domestic use. There are 2,189 heads of carabao utilized as draft animals and 2,534 hogs commercially raised to serve as additional source income. (read more)
