Agricultural Crops
Agriculture plays a significant role in the economy of
the municipality. This must be given priority above all
programs because of the increasing population, the
uncertain weather conditions and the ever-increasing
costs of production.

Livestock and Poultry
Animal production is limited within the
municipality. Compared with other municipalities of the
province, there is minimal livestock and poultry
production due to the distance of the locality to major
commercial places. Despite of its vast pasture areas
located in various barangays, some farmers are
conveniently utilizing these because source of water
like creeks and rivers exist. Backyard animal production
is a alternative livelihood project of households while
other production is for domestic use. There are 2,189
heads of carabao utilized as draft animals and 2,534
hogs commercially raised to serve as additional source
income. (read more)
