

Common Diseases/ Illnesses
The most common experienced health problem in the community is Upper Respiratory Infections which includes cough, colds, pneumonia and other problems affecting lungs. Since cough, colds and flu usually accompanied by fever and headache are also commonly experienced and reported disease by the residents. This is common especially during rainy seasons and the sudden change of the weather and affects mostly the children. Diarrhea is also one thing which is acquired from the food and the water people take in is also prevalent during rainy days especially with the poor drainage system in the community. Rheumatism is common among the residents since this is mostly aggravated by cold weather and humid environment.
Other common diseases identified by the Health Workers of the Barangay and by the people are following: heart disease, cancer, dengue, vascular system diseases, diabetic and asthma.
