Ecological Sanitation of Bayawan City
The city of Bayawan has indulged in the concept of having EcoSan Toilets or the Conventional Sanitary Toilets. Twenty-three of Bayawan City's barangays have their EcoSan toilets which are now operational while 5 more barangays are still constructing the EcoSan Toilets. The City has 3 operating types of EcoSan toilets, the UDDT( Urine Diversion Dehydration Toilet), the WETLANDS( Waste Water Treatment), and the Sanitary Landfill. These are all possible with the help of the City Officials headed by the City Mayor, Hon. German P. Sarana Jr and Engr. Antonio S. Aguilar, the EcoSan project engineer.  The City produces agricultural organic fertilizers coming from the EcoSan toilets which helps not only the country, but also mother earth which is sadly experiencing global warming. Bayawan City is a character city and a character city only wants what's best for everybody.
