Project Description

             This is an investigative study entitled Investigative Journalism: Cascading Life under the category  of Language and Literature. This focuses on featuring Dodiongan Falls, relating its origin, exploring its physical beauty to enhance nature appreciation, and determining its usefulness to the community itself.  This also tries to challenge the city government to look for alternatives to develop and cultivate Dodiongan Falls to successfully promote tourism of Iligan City since the city is called the City of Waterfalls. This further gives awareness to everybody that aside from the known waterfalls such as Maria Cristina Falls and Tinago Falls, there are also other falls which are awesome and breathtakingly beautiful that must be given attention and care.

This project will also serve as avenue for teachers in teaching literature to enhance students' appreciation of the grandeur and beauty of God's creation - nature. Further, the community will also benefit in terms of livelihood since this attracts tourists to visit Dodiongan Falls by selling any products they have to the tourists. Aside from self earnings, the barangay itself can benefit from the proceeds through fees generated from these visitors.
