doon po sa amin

This is the official entry of Camiguin National High School for the Doon Po Sa Amin Learning Challenge, a project where teachers and students of Smart Schools Program (SSP) partner schools are encouraged to use computer and Internet technologies to generate web-based information and education materials about their respective communities.

Childhood years

Mrs. Marcelina Agbon Bullecer popularly known as Nanay Ansing is the oldest woman of Catarman , Camiguin She was born in Mambajao, Camiguin on August 9,1907. She is the only daughter of late Mr. Anamias Agbon and Mrs.Pelipa Arabaka. She has only one brother.

Nanay Ansing told us that she belongs to a poor family. In fact Nanay Ansing was a big help to her mother in selling puto and bibingka during Sundays and Saturdays or whenever she did not to have a class. In a way, she helped her parents earned for a living.

Her childhood years were not a bed of roses. She was poor. Thus, she did not depend to her parents for her needs all the time.
