Fishing Squid to Greater Yield:

Squid fishing in Bundas is the most sought livelihood of the residents. People in the place keep on inventing gadgets that would be very useful for their fishing. As the sun sets they immediately prepare their fishing paraphernalia, the bait, the sarangat, the electronic flasher, and other necessary tools. As the boat starts to sail, the fishermen are excited to submerge their flasher. The flasher is usually connected to a 3 or 4 meter length chord wire. When the fishermen reach the desired area, they immediately submerge the light and then fishes and squids start to stay nearer the light. Small bait fishes are observed as well as the squids which are clinging together following the light. The light is regulated from low medium high switch. The sarangat (a bundle of big fish hooks) is also laid down into the water where baits are attached to it. The favorite food of the squids becomes visible to their eyes and they were caught immediately.
