Chapter I

 Project Description

 This Focus story entitled "Be Aware, Create Awareness and Do Actions” is an entry for the "Doon Po Sa Amin" Learning Challenge under the Science and Environment Topic Category. The focus study concentrates on the duty and vision of the Youth for the Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), an Environmental Club of General Santos City High School in finding proficient and feasible solutions to school's pressing environmental related concerns. The study also focuses on the Syllabi and Activities of the club: and elucidates the School's Waste Management Program: Waste Reduction and Purchasing Policy.

 Chapter II

 Methodology

1.Designate a waste management coordinator.

            The size of a team will be determined by the size of the school, and represent as many departments of operations as possible.

            For a small waste reduction program, an effective team might consist of just one or two people. An ideal candidate for a one person waste audit team would be an individual who is familiar with of overall operations of the school.
