2. Gather Facility Specific Information

            This is to be done by assigning teams of students in checking the garbage in specific parts of the school: Administration, Curriculum Buildings, Laboratories, etc. They will perform a waste sort inspection in which they will physically sort and identify each waste component and calculate its percentage of the waste stream.

3. Waste Composition Analysis

            They will determine the total materials recycled in tons after collecting the garbage using surveys and the collected waste. They should obtain the amount of waste disposed. The waste management coordinator or the assistants will contact the waste hauler for each specific department.
