Waste Assessment, Accomplished! The waste assessment was conducted to improve the waste management in General Santos City High School. It serves as a good practice for other other students to follow and likely, improve their own schools and so as their community. Selected students of the said school from the Youth for the Environment in Schools Organization were able to visit the mangrove plantation in Buayan together with the responsible moderators and leaders. Together, we were amazed to see the wonders and sacrifices of volunteers. And students were also able to experience mangrove planting, although not all. They also gained knowledge on how to plant the trees that may save the environment. Together we can save our environment with our little deeds and our own bare hands. "Let us do what we can do, and take whatever risks that you may encounter in saving and protecting the earth, we don't have to care enough to act, we have to ACT just to care enough"
