SUKOD is a project that showcases the creativity of Oponganons in making their own non-standard measurements.

If you think you know all the measuring tools, I bet there are more?

•  CALTEC. Made of a halved plastic bottle and has a variety of sizes with corresponding prices.

•  GANTANG. Used in measuring peanuts. It is assorted in sizes with different prices.

•  LAPAD. Which they use glass bottles in.

•  PUTOS. They use plastics as their containers.

PINSAR is a project that researches the Math progress of Oponganons by looking into the general means scores in their 1st, 2nd and 3rd division unified test for S.Y 2008-2009. This research also aims to have a standard score to gauge how a particular student or school is performing.

We believe that next school year 2009-2010, there will be no more out-of-school youth in Lapu-Lapu City, that Mathematics will be applied not only in school but also will be lived by the students in their everyday life. And every Oponganons shall put their heads up high knowing what they learned is their first step in making a difference.
