Based on the data gathered from the persons involved in the interview conducted by the researchers of the team at the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and in one of the participants of the Regional Youth Science Camp (RYSC) 2008, the group collected information such as the public hearing record of Lake Sebu that includes the general description of Lake Sebu, uses and present condition of the lake and findings and discussion on the evaluation of water quality and the effects of the water.
Waste Management
Lake Sebu, as one of the Municipalities in South Cotabato,which implementing the zero. Waste Management in its surroundings, is also discontinuing the flow of rude in its natural resources specifically on the three lakes.
The three lakes namely: Lake Sebu, Lake Seloton and Lake Lahit were just the area where the maintenance of cleanliness is prioritize and implemented.In Lake Lahit,the smallest lake there is no fish caging allowed,unlike in Lake Seloton, fish caging is allowed,likewise in Lake Sebu the largest among the three.
In each lakes,there are ordinances implemented,one of ordinances is the cleaning of the lakes which let the people to clean their areas located in the lake at the front of their home.
Water lilies,water hyacinth and water lettuce are some of the fresh water plants that can be found in the lakes,these plants,multiply theirselves easily,each takes a short time to reproduce their sorts.These plants also take significant in the lake,so,it cause bad effect to the lake.Although they serve as one of the sources of the food of some living organisms in water.It decreased the amount of oxygen which the organisms breath.
The ordinance is on going of its service until now.One of the components of the ordinance is to let the people who lived beneath the lakeshore to do their task.And it still work.Then the implementation is continuing or hoping always and forever.Let's continue make our paradise Immaculate.

Conclusion
The prolific growth
of water hyacinth and water lettuce call the alarming degradation of
lakes both for mankind and economic survival. On the rescue, a joint
forces among the governing officials (Province, Municipal, and
Barangays), schools and the people of Lake Sebu able to come up and
implement ordinances on lake management such as: Clean-up drive,
Lake shore planting of Balabago, and patrol boat (for hauling water
hyacinth) since year 2002 up to the present.
A project proposal
was presented by a group of students to the Regional Science Camp on
"Biological Control of Water Hyacinth in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato,"
and forwarded to the Municipal Mayor. Students', as well as
teachers' involvement are mainly on the pulling out of water
hyacinth and water lettuce.
