Lake Sebu is an Indigenous Cultural Community. It is a T'boli homeland located at the Southwesthern part of the province of South Cotabato, blessed with three lakes namely: Lake Lahit, Lake Sebu, and Lake Seloton. The biggest among the three lakes is the Lake Sebu with an approximate area of 354 has. Followed by the Lake Seloton, and Lake Lahit as the smallest lake.
The municipality of Lake Sebu has a total land area of 89.138 has. Or 11.58% of South Cotabato total land area. It is composed of 19 barangays, the biggest of which is Brgy. Ned with an approximate area of 46.27% of Lake Sebu total land area. The smallest barangay is Lake Lahit with an area of 528 has. Or only 6% of Lake Sebu's total land area.
The main sources of livelihood in Lake Sebu are farming, fishing, fish cage business, weaving T'nalak, and making of Native products.
Its favorable climatic condition and eye-catching sceneries, many were attracted and invested businesses that makes Lake Sebu as the Summer Capital of Southern Mindanao.
