The researchers are a group of Science Class fourth year high school students from Marinduque National High School. Technology and Livelihood is what they chose to be the center of research study because they want to promote Marinduque’s ability in modern agriculture and fisheries. Taking the first steps of the project wasn’t easy, but through hand-in-hand and support of different people relative to our study, we, the researchers did a lot of things in a smooth way. Days and nights the researchers work, that’s why they came up with the brightest ideas for the better promotion of Marinduque’s TECHNOLOGY AND LIVELIHOOD.

The researchers had form their group with the assistance of their coach and TLE teacher, Mrs. Helen Lineses. Our group took interest in the topic “Technology and Livelihood” in Marinduque. The researchers conducted several meetings and assigned officers for specific tasks. The researchers planned the outline of the web pages and made a time table for the schedule of the upcoming activities and tours for the improvement of the project.

The researchers toured the Provincial Training Center (PTC) in Tamayo, Sta. Cruz Marinduque on October 2008. They conducted several interviews with the help of the two pillars of PTC, Mr. Pepe Obario and Mr. Armando Pedregal. We have acquired sufficient information about the technology used and processes for the propagation and cultivation of fishes as well as varieties of plants. With enough data gathered, the researchers were able to make articles for varied specific topics given to each member of the group.

The leaders of our group started the web making in MS FrontPage- created designs, encoded articles, uploaded pictures, etc. It took a long time for the researchers to make the web pages partially. The researchers decided to return to PTC to take more pictures, conduct more interviews and observe the well-developed, agricultural land of Tamayo. The group believed that acquiring more knowledge will surely improve and enhance their website.

Specific members of our group were assigned to sit in front of the computer and continued our work until the fruit of our effort was obtained and finished.
