The sun is still up yet we were there. Standing and practicing under the heat of the sun. We were perspiring and sweating in our colorful costumes. Not minding about the time but of our performance. A hundred eyes are focusing upon us, yet we survived because "practice makes it perfect.
Mr. Ricardo Cayacap, the STEC-HS Principal saw the talent and potentials of the students who are in STEC. After seeing those potentials, Mr. Cayacap called a meeting with the high school teachers on how to share those talents to everyone. And they decided to have a talent show wherein everyone can see and they called it “MAGNUM OPUS” which means great work in Latin and masterpiece in arts.
STEC-HS, having five sections that time started to became busy. Morning, afternoon, and even evening are their schedules in practicing that coming event. The advisers of each class started to become strict in monitoring the talents of each student to get their goal, the perfection. Everyday, they made a schedule for practices and every mistake they get; they need to do their talents over again. There are many talents of each class and they have even cheer dance and role plays. After approximately one month of practices, it finally ended in on the 7 th day of March 2007.
Everyone was prepared on that day. There are audiences watching that day. There are teachers, parents, and even students from other schools watching. They are many audiences that say the show was nice. That only proves that “Excellence is their habit and Perfection is their goal.
