"Sa Wastong Nutrisyon ni Mommy, Siguradong Healthy si Baby"

Spearheaded by the theme, "Sa Wastong Nutrisyon ni Mommy, Siguradong Healthy si Baby", the whole division of Lapu-Lapu City celebrated the annual Nutrition Month. Different contests were prepared by the Division Office and the City Health. Schools are also taking part as they celebrate their school culmination.

NutriQuiz

Last July 25, 2008, the City Health Head Oficer, Dr. Rodolfo Berame were there to take part of the Nutrition Month Quiz Competition held at City Health Function Room. Representatives of the different schools were sent to join the quiz and take pride representing their institution and the knowledge about nutrition.

Winners were declared right after the said competition. The first three winners were awarded by Dr. Berame himself. Pajo National High School got the 1st place followed by the Science and Technology Education Center-High School. Marigondon National High School bagged the 3rd place.

Slogan and Poster Making and Cookfest

Students, coaches, nutritionists and officers of the city health were there to witness the Slogan and Poster Making held at Lapu-Lapu City Auditorium last July 30, 2008 . There are 21 participants from the Poster Making and 23 participants from the Slogan Making.

The cookfest was also held in the said arena. A scent of heaven and lifegiving taste were prepared by the students, from both public and private schools. Main dishes, appetizers, desserts, beverages and soups were on the table of the new chefs.

The said culmination is one way of spreading awareness to the community. With the help of the City Health Office, a succesful NutriMonth was celebrated.
