HEALTH
Healthy citizenry means able human resource. The city's commitment to the same is reflected in the cities expenditures for health and has been rewarded by the over whelming response from the people.

Our hospital alone spent P 6 433 000.00 for 2007 hospitalization cost. The OPD patients swelled from 17518 in 2006 to 32 013 in 2007 while the 2007 PHIC Admission of 3 939 reflected a 42.71% above 2006, thus increased our PHIC claims. |

These accomplishments are further complemented by the covering mortality rate, 4.4% which is lesser than 2006, 2005, 2003 and 2002. Needed social intervations to special sectors through the CWSDO are also glaring.
EDUCATION
Gearing towards a well-educated and responsible citizenry for globally livable and competitive city, the LGU here also invests efforts to educational and immoral interventions.

To strengthen the institutional and educational base, the home and pre-school, 172 parents attended training on empowerment and reaffirmation of the paternal abilities or ERPAT while 3 day-case centers where also renovated to improve physical facility. |

SHELTER / HOUSING
Proving decent homes to the homeless and giving priority on the poorest of the poor sector, the LGU here endeavors to bring basic shelter to those who need most. This commitment is shown in the 2007 footprints.
Additionally, thirty units of core shelter housing were also constructed at Purok Fataldao, San Jose as one of our Peace Development Communities in Partnership with GSC-Habitat for Humanity and Act for Peace Programmed.
ENVIRONMENT
Ensuring a physical environment with clean air, potable water, and sustainable landscape is a fundamental requirement for a livable City.
