STEC joins 7 th PRO

"STEC PRO team representing the Division of Lapu-Lapu City in the 7th Philippine Robotics Olympiad"

After topping the Cebu Robotics Olympiad garnering all the prizes for Open category and 3 rd prize for the Regular category with Science and Technology Education Center (STEC) representing Lapu-lapu City . The team proudly stepped-up to the 7 th Philippine Robotics Olympiad (PRO) held in SM Megamall last September 26, 2008.

Third year high school students, Anke Christian A. Tiu, Ace Brylle T. Artugue, Charles Ivan D. Berdin, Adrian Lester C. Legaspi, Edwin Jude E. Reyes, Kenneth Jay N. Garate joined the Regular Category that was able to make it in the top 20 and was qualified for the finals.

Frenzie Mae Rivera, Maeren Marie Sanoria, Kreeshalaine Diamos, Winnielyn Casquejo, Alexis Marie Dela Serna, Jade Lobrigas, joined the Open Category with the theme, �Saving Global Environment.�

Coaches of these participants are Donald Dungog, Jonathan Cartilla, and Ricardo Cayacap Jr. with Supervisor Marilyn Andales. Both Categories are done simultaneously, the Open Category in 2 nd floor building A while the Regular Category in 3 rd floor building A.
