Background of the Story
Nowadays, the number of trees is rapidly decreasing due to illegal activities of the human for their self-interest. Year by year, this situation is getting worse if cannot be prevented. It triggers our environment and no more trees can help lessened the pollution. This brings to a total chaos for the future generations.
By the time of commercial advancement, the demand of wood products especially timber is getting higher and higher every year. Due also to commercialization, forest land has turned into agricultural areas to compensate the needs of growing population. Gradually, the number of trees is constantly deceasing.
Even though, government and other environmental advocates launch some reforestation programs. These indeed is not enough because illegal or not permitted logging is very rampant and common to all tropical regions around the globe especially the developing countries and the reforestation programs.
To help solve the problem, government agencies such as CENRO, DENR and other agencies related and caring the environment launch the projects and proposals to save the environment in its present condition. These programs include tree planting, reforestation and building heritage sites.
