San Jose: A Deeper Look

We've rest for a while in a little nipa hut above a mountain Going to Purok 2 Kalubihan.

We also witnessed that not only farming is their main source of income but also charcoal making carried by horses which is their form of transportation.

We decided to take a shortcut to make our travel back easier. So we took down the hill side instead of the long way.

The road is so rocky and slippery due to the rain that  had passed and so one of our group mates take off her slippers.

The Purok 2 Kalubihan is very far from the society. We need to travel for about 2 kilometers on foot.

STOP! This is a girl in a picture of their tribal dance wearing their tribal dress. This was presented to us before we left the wonderful land of San Jose.

These are the children of San Jose, the future of their homeland together with the researchers.
