Josephine Espinosa
Manang Josephine Espinosa, 53 year old accessory vendor having her own stalls and mini show room nearly located to their place. She often goes to “Manila Pistang Pilipino” as a part time to raise more funds for her family. She is raising 5 children supporting High School education to two children, one elementary and two who are fresh graduates of their own courses. She's been working as an accessory vendor for 24 years now since she got married with her husband. The small business she is handling now is from her husbands' nephew -- she works as a vendor as well as the maker of the accessories being sold.
The income she generates from this job is enough to support her family's needs and their daily consumptions. However, she does this as a pastime while generating income from this kind of hobby. She claimed that they are in the low-class type of family and that she has to double her time in working not just relying to her husbands' job as a carpenter. Being less fortunate she said, determined her to pursue and strive harder just for her family to live to tell the tale, all she wants is for her children to finish studying and be successful people in the future not minding her hardships to attain her ultimate goal.
