Recommendations

As we have been discussed in the previous sections, herbals contained plant compounds that can cure illnesses and plant compounds that are ineffective.

In, fact many herbs were considered to be safer and less harmful than pharmaceutical chemical drugs. We recommend their use because of their multitude benefits they provide. It is very important to be responsible in taking the herbs medicinally, whether to prevent or treat any illnesses. Below are some advices and safe-use guidelines in using herbs.

  • Herbal, as with any other medicines, should be use with care.

  • Any medicine, including herbal, may cause side effects.

  • Before you take any herbal medicinally, you should be sure that it is the correct product for you.

  • It is important to note that “natural” does not necessarily mean “safe”. Some plants contained compounds that are dangerous to human.

  • When consulting your doctor or pharmacist about your health always tell them about any herbal medicines you are taking.

  • Caution should be taken about use of herbals in pregnancy, when breastfeeding or in children and elderly.

  • If you think you have had experiences unwanted reactions after taking the herb, you must discontinue use and tell your doctor or pharmacist.
