  Population: 42 households

  Municipality: General Santos City

  Province: South Cotabato

           Purok Malambu-on is one of the 30 puroks in Barangay Calumpang, Municipality of General Santos City, Province of South Cotabato. From the city proper to Purok Malambu-on, it takes 30-45 minutes travel. Barangay Calumpang, in partnership with the health center provides health programs for the people of Purok Malambu-on. These health programs are: immunization, vaccination, free check-up, feeding programs and a lot more...

                Long time ago, Purok Malambu-on was a part of Acharon. In the year 1989, it was decided  that Purok Acharon will be divided. The purok officials decided that there will be a new purok named Purok Malambu-on which means "progressive".
